President Biden is putting heat on the Senate to pass an elections transparency bill.
Speaking at the White House, Biden said the DISCLOSE Act will help get so-called dark money out of politics while closing campaign finance loopholes.
Biden added, "Sunlight is the best disinfectant" and argued dark money erodes public trust. The DISCLOSE Act was previously passed by the House.
Prospects for passage in the Senate will depend on some Republican support in the 50-50 Senate.
