Yordan Alvarez knocked in a pair of runs as the Astros edged the Braves 5-4 in Atlanta. Alvarez put Houston on the board in the third inning with his two-RBI single. Kyle Tucker also drove in a run for the Astros, who avoided the sweep and improved to 78-and-45. Jose Urquidy picked up his 12th win after allowing two runs over seven frames. Dylan Lee suffered the loss in relief for Atlanta, which fell to 75-and-48. Matt Olson hit his 26th home run of the season with a two-run shot in the first inning.
