The Astros came up short in their road series opener. Houston fell 4-2 to the White Sox in Chicago. Rafael Montero took the loss in relief after starter Jose Urquidy allowed one run over seven-and-two-thirds frames. Alex Bregman and Yordan Alvarez each knocked in a run for the Astros, who fell to 75-and-42. Houston had a four-game winning streak snapped and sends right-hander Justin Verlander to the mound tonight.
