Testimony continues today in the trial of a man accused of murdering a woman with an ax in 2020. Rafael Castillo is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Nicole Perry. After killing her, he reportedly cut off her hands and forced her fiancé to clean up the kill site. On Wednesday morning, the prosecution and defense presented their opening statements. The jury then heard from a Public Works employee who was on a trash cleanup crew that found Perry's body in a black garbage bag on South W.W. White Road.
