The Senate Minority Leader wants Attorney General Merrick Garland to talk about the FBI's raid of Mar-a-Lago in south Florida.

Kentucky Republican Mitch McConnell was touring flooding in Eastern Kentucky when he was asked about the search warrant on former President Trump's Palm Beach property. He said he wanted more information from Garland as soon as possible.

Meantime, Former President Trump is questioning how the FBI executed a search warrant at his home in Florida.

On his Truth Social platform this morning, Trump said his lawyers weren't allowed to be near the areas the FBI conducted their search of Mar-a-Lago. He noted everyone was asked to leave the premises.

He then added, "They wanted to be left alone, without any witnesses to see what they were doing, taking or, hopefully, not 'planting.'"
