The Uvalde CISD is offering virtual learning as an option for its students this school year. The school shooting at Robb Elementary School in May has many parents and kids worried about returning to class. The district has delayed the start of school until September 6th to provide more time for security upgrades at schools. Parents who still aren't ready for in-person learning will have the option to keep their kids home to study.
