The City of San Antonio is offering relief from the dangerous heat this weekend with dozens of cooling centers. Forecasts call for temperatures of up to 101-degrees and heat indexes as high as 112 in some parts of the city. Residents are advised to stay indoors as much as possible, stay hydrated, check on the elderly and those with medical conditions, and don't leave children or pets in the car. City officials are opening 57 cooling centers around San Antonio.
