The Rangers came up short in their home series opener. Texas fell 6-5 to the Mariners in Arlington. The Rangers weren't able to hold on after taking a 5-1 lead after the fifth inning. Dennis Santana took the loss in relief for Texas, which fell to 41-and-46. Corey Seager knocked in a pair of runs in the losing effort. The Rangers send right-hander Matt Bush to the mound tonight. In other team news, Seager was added to the MLB All-Star game as an injury replacement for George Springer on the American League roster.
