Jon Gray tossed seven scoreless innings as the Rangers topped the A's 5-2 in Arlington. Gray allowed only one hit and struck out nine to pick up his sixth win on the mound. Garrett Richards secured his first save for Texas, which improved to 41-and-45. Leody Taveras and Brad Miller each knocked in two runs in the victory. The Rangers host the Mariners tonight and send left-hander Martin Perez to the mound.
