The Astros walked off with a victory after a Yordan Alvarez home run. Houston topped the Kansas City Royals 7-6 to open a four-game series. Alvarez went one-for-three at the dish with a pair of walks and a game-winning solo homer in the bottom of the ninth. Ryne Stanek picked up his first win of the year after pitching a scoreless top of the ninth. The Astros improved to 52-and-27 and send right-hander Luis Garcia to the mound tonight.
