Vice President Harris says the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade will prompt a healthcare crisis for women.
That's the landmark 1973 ruling that led to the legalization of abortion in America. Speaking in Illinois, Harris said it's the first time in U.S. history that a constitutional right has been taken away from Americans.
Harris argued the high court ruling strips rights from women that were held by their mothers and grandmothers. She said the ruling also jeopardizes privacy rights.
