The Rangers came up short in their road series finale. Texas fell 7-3 to the Tigers in Detroit. Corey Seager hit his 15th home run of the season with a solo shot in the first inning. Dane Dunning was saddled with his fifth loss after allowing five runs in four-and-two-thirds innings. The Rangers split the series and dropped to 31-and-35. Texas returns home to host the Philadelphia Phillies tomorrow night.
