Rangers Lose To Mariners In Extras

The Rangers dropped their road series. Texas lost to the Mariners 6-5 in 10 innings in Arlington. Martin Perez allowed two runs over six frames for the no-decision, while Brock Burke was tagged with his first loss in relief. Mitch Garver put the Rangers up 5-2 with a homer in the bottom of the eighth, but Texas couldn't hold the lead. The team drops to 25-and-28. The Rangers visit the Guardians tonight and send right-hander Jon Gray to the mound.
