Uvalde Mayor Don McLaughlin says the government should focus on mental health, not more gun control. In an appearance on Good Morning America, McLaughlin said politicians need to do something about mental health in order to try to prevent mass shootings. He says Uvalde officials have been trying for some time to get a mental health hospital built for people who need it, and the city has donated land for the site. McLaughlin says more gun restrictions won't do any good, since a criminal will always figure out a way to get a gun.
