Rangers Knock Off Angels, Syndergaard

The Rangers plated six runs in the first inning as they beat the Angels 7-4 in Arlington. Texas struck back in the bottom of the first, after trailing Los Angeles 3-0 early on. Eli White led the way with a pair of hits and two RBI. Jonah Heim also went deep for the Rangers, who improved to 15-and-19. Jon Gray earned his first win after striking out eight over five-and-two-thirds innings, while Joe Barlow secured his seventh save. Noah Syndergaard suffered his second loss after giving up six runs, four earned, over two-thirds of a frame. Brandon Marsh had two RBI for the Angels, who dropped to 24-and-14.
