Whataburger has plans to expand its test kitchen in San Antonio. The six-thousand-square-foot facility on West Sunset Road near Alamo Quarry is where the popular burger chain tests its future menu items. The half-million-dollar expansion will renovate the test kitchen and convert office space into an equipment testing lab. The San Antonio-based burger chain plans to start the expansion in June and finish it in October.
