San Antonio ISD's new superintendent of schools is now in office. The Board of Trustees officially approved Dr. Jaime Aquino in a vote on Monday. Aquino's selection came after a long search to replace former superintendent Pedro Martinez. Aquino brings more than 35-years of experience in the field of education to the job. He signed a five-year contract for 315-thousand-dollars a year.
