Astros Blank Mariners

Jake Odorizzi tossed six-and-two-thirds scoreless frames as the Astros blanked the Mariners 3-0 in Houston. The right-hander gave up only four hits as he improved to 2-and-2 on the mound. Rafael Montero completed the shutout with his second save for Houston, which improve to 12-and-11. Yordan Álvarez and rookie Jeremy Peña launched homers in the victory. Marco Gonzales took his third loss after allowing three runs over six innings. Seattle managed only five hits as it dropped to 12-and-11. The Mariners have lost five of their last six.
