A man who was wanted on family violence warrants is in custody following an hours-long standoff at a Northwest Side apartment. Sheriff Javier Salazar says 48-year-old Christopher Lombrano closed himself inside the bathroom of his apartment when deputies tried to execute the warrants on Thursday. After several hours of negotiations, deputies sent tear gas into the bathroom, and Lombrano surrendered at about 3:30 p.m. Salazar says he'll probably face more charges because of the standoff. There were no injuries.
