An annual survey is once again crowning Texas as the best state in the country for business. A poll of almost 700 CEOs and business owners by Chief Executive has ranked the Lone Star State number one for the 21st consecutive year. The publication cites Texas' growing population, low taxes, and broadening economy as the reasons the state remains the best for business. Florida was ranked second, while California came in dead last.
