There is a new contract between San Antonio and its police officers' union. The San Antonio Police Officers Association announced the agreement with the city this afternoon. Negotiations had been going on for over a year with a tentative agreement reached in early March. It involves officer raises but also puts some limits on reinstating fired officers. The City Council still has to approve the contract.
