The Rangers are taking a hit to their rotation. Texas is placing right-hander Jon Gray on the injured list today after he suffered a left knee sprain on Tuesday. Gray had pitched five innings and allowed four runs in the loss. An MRI revealed a low-grade sprain of the MCL in his left knee. It's the second trip to the IL for Gray after he was dealing with a blister on his right middle finger. He has been limited to two starts this season.
