A San Antonio city councilman isn't happy with how the proposed redistricting map changes the boundary of his district. On Wednesday, the Redistricting Advisory Committee presented its first draft of the new map to the council. The proposed map would place Brackenridge Park entirely within District 1. The park is currently split between District 1 and District 2. District 2 Councilman Jalen McKee-Rodriguez wants to keep the northern half of the park in his East Side district. The proposed new map is based on 2020 Census data.
