Yordan Alvarez homered twice as the Astros took down the Angels 8-3 in Houston. Alvarez hit a pair of two-run bombs as he finished with three hits and four RBI. Alex Bregman also chipped in with a pair of hits for Houston, which improved to 6-and-4. Luis Garcia struck out seven and allowed three runs over five-and-two-thirds frames to pick up his first win. Max Stassi launched a solo homer for Los Angeles, which fell to 6-and-5. Michael Lorenzen was dealt his first loss after surrendering four runs over three-and-a-third innings.
