Bexar County courts have cut a backlog in domestic violence cases by about 60% in less than two-months. County Court 11 Judge Tommy Stolhandske and County Court 8 Judge Mary Roman waded into the backlog of more than 26-hundred cases in early February. Since that time, more than 15-hundred cases have been resolved. The two judges, with the help of visiting judges, hope to eliminate the rest of the backlog this year.
