The Texas Education Agency is providing guidelines for school districts to keep obscene materials out of the state's public school libraries. The agency's new policies emphasize parental say-so in the selection of books. School districts are advised to make new library selections easily available for parents to review. District officials aren't required to adopt the agency's recommendations.
