The San Antonio ISD Board of Trustees is naming its next superintendent. During a meeting Monday evening, the board voted to name the lone finalist, Doctor Jaime Aquino, to the position. The district says Aquino is an educator with more than 30-years of experience in Denver, Los Angeles, and New York. State law required the district to wait 21-days before officially hiring the chosen candidate. The SAISD board will confirm Aquino's appointment at a special meeting on May 3rd.
