A new skyscraper planned for downtown Austin will be the tallest in the city, and may be the tallest in Texas. The 74-story high-rise is to be built at 98 Red River Street, along Waller Creek. Construction may start in the next few months on the project, which will include hundreds of apartments and hotel rooms, plus nearly 700,000 square feet of office space. The building doesn't have a name yet, and the hotel brand hasn't been announced.
