Medina County Evacuation Order Lifted As Wildfire Contained

Residents of Medina County are back home after the lifting of a wildfire-related evacuation order. Officials said the fire was 95% contained on Tuesday after scorching nearly a thousand acres. County roads reopened, as well as the High Mountain Ranch subdivision, where two of the three homes that the fire destroyed were located. A Forest Service spokesman says firefighters came from 29 different agencies, in Texas and other states, to battle the blaze.
