Texas Tech Advances To Sweet 16

The Red Raiders' dance continues on. Three-seed Texas Tech grinded out a 59-53 win over 11-seed Notre Dame in second round action in San Diego. Kevin Obanor powered the Red Raiders with 15 points and 15 rebounds, followed by Bryson Williams and Kevin McCullar with 14 points apiece. The Irish were led by Dane Goodwin with 14 points and eight rebounds. Texas Tech will battle two-seed Duke in the Sweet 16 in San Francisco later this week.
