There are conflicting reports on the condition of a Southeast Texas law enforcement officer and a suspect following a mall shooting. It happened this afternoon at PlazAmericas, previously known as Sharptown Mall. Houston police say it wasn't one of their officers who was injured and Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez says he's trying to figure out if it's one of his deputies. There are reports at least one person died in the shooting however neither police nor Gonzalez have confirmed anything. Both suspect and cop were taken to the hospital.
