Olympian, Texas A&M Volunteer Track Coach Killed In Car Crash

Olympian and Texas A&M volunteer track coach Deon Lendore is dead. The university says the Trinidad and Tobago native was killed in a Monday car crash after driving home from practice. The 29-year-old won The Bowerman award in 2014 as the top collegiate track and field athlete. He also represented Trinidad and Tobago in three Olympics winning a bronze medal in 2012. Aggies Track & Field Head Coach Pat Henry says Lendore's death really hurts because he was considered part of Henry's family.
