Federal agents have returned several spider monkeys to Mexico after an attempt to smuggle them into the United States. U.S Customs and Border Protection says the monkeys were found last week when a woman was stopped at an international bridge in Hidalgo County. Four of the small monkeys were found inside a duffel bag in the woman's jeep. The monkeys were okay, and the woman was charged with trying to bring prohibited animals into the U.S.
