The AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch says the statewide average gas price in Texas is $2.89 a gallon for regular unleaded. That price is up one-cent from a week ago, and is 95-cents higher than a year ago. The national average is $3.29. Gas prices wobbled a bit after news of a fire at the Exxon Mobil refinery in Baytown. The average price at the pump in San Antonio is $2.78, Austin is $2.85, Dallas is $2.97, Corpus Christi is $2.72, El Paso is $3.19, Houston is $2.86, Waco is $2.82 and Beaumont is $2.90.
