Attorney General Ken Paxton is applauding a federal judge's suspension of the Biden administration's coronavirus vaccine mandate for nursing homes and hospitals in Texas. Thursday's ruling suspends Biden's order that all employees at federally funded health care facilities be fully vaccinated by January 4th. Paxton, a Republican who sued the administration over the mandate, called the preliminary injunction a "win for liberty." Health care executives warned the mandate would worsen worker shortages if employees refused to get the vaccine.
