Cowboys Hold Off Washington

The Cowboys jumped out to a 24-0 halftime lead and held on to beat rival Washington 27-20 in Landover. Dak Prescott overcame two interceptions including a late pick-six, throwing for 211 yards and a touchdown for Dallas. Micah Parsons had two sacks and forced a fumble that was returned for a score for the 'Boys, who lead the NFC East at 9-and-4. Taylor Heinicke had a pick of one of three fumbles on the day for Washington, which saw its four-game winning streak come to an end and dropped to 6-and-7. Kyle Allen replaced Heinicke and led the team on a late comeback attempt. Jonathan Williams ran in for a TD and Cole Holcomb had a 31-yard, pick-six late in the fourth before Dallas sealed it.
