Small Plane Crash In West Harris County Kills Pilot, Passenger

The FAA is investigating the crash of a small plane in west Harris County that killed two people on board. State police say the Piper Cherokee went down on Wednesday night in George Bush Park, and was found at about 2 p.m. Thursday in a field south of the Katy Freeway. The pilot and the passenger were dead at the scene. Their identities haven't been released, and the cause of the crash isn't yet known.
