The Texans came up short again as the Dolphins beat Houston 17-9 in Miami Gardens. Jacoby Brissett, who started in place of an injured Tua Tagovailoa, threw for 244 yards, a touchdown and two picks. Miami overcame five turnovers to improve to 2-and-7. Defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah had a monster game with two-and-a-half sacks, two tackles for loss and three quarterback hits. Houston dropped its eighth straight game, despite the return of quarterback Tyrod Taylor. It was a three-interception game for Taylor, who completed 24-of-43 passes for 240 yards and no TDs. The Texans, who are now 1-and-8, again struggled to run the ball, totaling 73 yards on 18 carries. Eric Murray and Maliek Collins each had an interception to lead the Houston defense.
