Luka Doncic and the Mavericks started slow, but came back to beat the Spurs. Doncic filled the stat sheet with 25 points, five assists and three rebounds. Jalen Brunson chipped in with 19 off the bench for Dallas, which managed only 15 points in the first quarter. The Mavericks got the win, despite Kristaps Porzingis missing the game due to a back injury.
Dejounte Murray tallied 23 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists for the Spurs in the losing effort. The Mavericks improve to 3-1 on the season, while the Spurs fall to 1-4. Dallas improved to 3-and-1.
