Senate leaders have reached an agreement on extending the debt limit until early December.
The short-term extension was proposed by Minority Leader Mitch McConnell yesterday. The Kentucky Republican cited "good faith negotiations" and added the deal will "spare the American people a manufactured crisis."
December will come up fast and the two sides will likely face another impasse and crisis in the run-up to Christmas.
