Boerne Man Sentenced To Prison For Aviation-Related Ponzi Scheme

A Boerne man will serve more than 11-years in prison for running an aviation-related Ponzi scheme. Federal prosecutors stated on Thursday that 48-year-old Victor Farias bilked investors out of more than $7 million, which he will have to repay in restitution. Farias owned Boerne-based Integrity Aviation, an investment scam he ran from 2013 to 2019. He promised investors returns of up to 12% on aircraft engines that were resold or leased to major airlines. In fact, he sold only one engine at no profit.
