One person is dead following a shooting and chase involving a Bexar County Sheriff's deputy. Sheriff Javier Salazar says a deputy opened fire on a driver this morning on Potranco Road and Sundance during a struggle. He notes there's social media video showing the driver's vehicle dragging one deputy along with body cam footage. Salazar thinks the man is known to deputies and has mental health issues. The deputy who shot and killed the man is on administrative leave.
