DHS Suspending Horse Patrols

The Department of Homeland Security is suspending horse patrols following claims that agents whipped Haitian nationals at the border. 

President Biden is temporarily suspending agents on horseback as the incident in Del Rio, Texas, is being investigated. 

An estimated 14,000 illegal immigrants were camped out under a bridge hoping to be granted entry into the U.S. DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said earlier this week they're ramping up deportation flights back to Haiti. 

As of this morning, officials say roughly 4,000 are left under the bridge. However, it's unclear how many were released into the U.S. under a provision known as Title 8.
