A Houston police officer is dead following a shooting. Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner says Officer William “Bill” Jeffrey was killed this morning while serving a drug warrant on Aeropark near Bush Intercontinental Airport. Police Chief Troy Finner says Jeffrey was a great cop, who he's known his entire career. Jeffrey's wife is a retired officer. A second officer, Sergeant Michael Vance, is in emergency surgery but is stable. Harris County Sheriff's Ed Gonzalez says one possible suspect was killed.
