VIA To Expand VIA Link Service To More Parts Of Town

VIA Metropolitan Transit is announcing an expansion of its mobility-on-demand service known as VIA Link. VIA plans to conduct a couple of virtual public meetings soon to gather public input about the expansion. Riders use an app to request a ride, similar to Uber or Lyft, but can also call and request a ride. VIA Link has operated in parts of the Northeast Side for two-years. Via want to expand the existing service area, then add service later this month on the city's Southeast Side. Next month, service to the Northwest Side will come.
