Police say three people have died after a man with a rifle opened fire outside of an East Side sports bar.
It all started shortly before 3:30 a.m. at the Boom Boom Sports Bar on the 1600-block of S New Braunfels near I-10.
“The argument started inside between two individuals,” explained San Antonio Police Chief William McManus.
Police Chief William McManus says there appeared to have been a fight inside the bar that spilled outside. One of the people involved grabbed a rifle from a vehicle and started firing shots. When it was over, 5 people had been shot. Three died and two were hospitalized in critical condition.
