New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is resigning following a bombshell sexual harassment report. Cuomo said it is best for the state and will only help New York move forward. It will be effective in 14 days. The state's attorney general announced the findings of her five-month investigation into allegations from multiple women that Cuomo created a sexually hostile work environment. The report concludes the Democrat touched their "intimate body parts" and made unwanted advances.

Cuomo's political career has spanned three-decades. The Queens native graduated from Fordham University in the Bronx and studied law at Union University's Albany Law School before entering private practice. Like his father the late former-Governor Mario Cuomo, he ultimately entered politics. Andrew Cuomo served as President Bill Clinton's HUD Secretary and was then elected New York's Attorney General in 2006. He became governor of New York in 2010, winning re-election twice.
