A man is dead after being shot in the face while sitting in his truck at a Southeast Side gas station.
It happened at about 10:45 p.m. at the Exxon gas station on East Southcross Boulevard and South New Braunfels Avenue.
The victim was apparently on the phone with his wife when the shooting happened. He was able to drive to a nearby Dollar General Store, but died before help could get to him.
Police are trying to determine whether the victim knew the shooter or what led to the shooting.
