Legendary Cowboy Drew Pearson Enters Pro Football Hall Of Fame

After 40 years of eligibility, one legendary Dallas Cowboy is inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Drew Pearson was officially inducted into the Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio with the Class of 2021 on Sunday, part of a two-day event inducting two new classes. Pearson was an undrafted free agent who became a legend when he caught the first ever "Hail Mary" pass from Roger Staubach in the 1975 NFC Divisional Game to beat the Vikings with just 24 seconds left on the clock. When asked about his induction, Pearson, who had been passed over for decades, simply said, "I'm satisfied."
