Spirit Airlines is fighting on in the midst of major scheduling problems. Starting last week hundreds of flights had been canceled or delayed. The Florida-based carrier says it was hit with weather issues and staffing shortages just as more people booked flights with the easing of COVID-19 travel restrictions. So far today, fewer than a hundred Spirit flights have been scrapped, according to the flight tracking website FlightAware.com.
